Let’s get familiar with the game interface. On the left is the Game menu.

The panels on the upper centre of the screen will give you information on your current money, stars, storage space and will tell you the time.

On the left side there are three buttons which you can use to bring up information about your land. You can hover your mouse over the buttons to receive information on what each button will do.

You’ll find the Log Window at the bottom of the screen. Here you’ll receive warnings and advice about your farm. If you click on any of the messages in the log window, the screen will move to the incident.

Game Controls: The Left Mouse Button will let you select and de-select objects, click buttons etc. The right mouse button when held down will move the camera. The Mouse Wheel zooms in and out.

When the game starts, you’ll begin with a small village with a basic tarmac road. Please click the Rent / Buy Land button from the menu on the left side.

[TUTORIAL TEXT 011] A new window will open which will allow you to rent or buy property. To select your first field you’ll need to left click and drag the mouse. This will create a grid to show you the area you have selected. Once you’ve selected an area the Rent/ Buy window will share information about that piece of land including soil quality and price. If you try to select an invalid area some of the squares on the grid will turn red

[TUTORIAL TEXT 012] After you select a valid area please click either the Rent or Buy button.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 013] Congratulations! You have now bought your first plot of land. <br> <br> Please move the mouse over your newly acquired land and click on it.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 014] You can find some useful information about your land which will let you check soil quality, the current water level, expected yield and whether you have used organic or synthetic product to care for that land. On the right side, there is a red button which you can use to terminate your rental contract or sell your land.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 015] With your plot of land selected you’ll see some control options. The first small button allows you to plough your field. Please left click the plough icon
[TUTORIAL TEXT 016] A window for the Farmers' centre will open. From here you are able to select a vehicle to plough your field. You’ll find some information on each vehicle including speed, efficiency and cost. Some vehicles however may be locked, in order to use them you’ll need to spend your earned bonus stars to unlock them. Hover over the button icons below the vehicle and choose the rent button for one of the vehicles.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 017] Once rented, the tractor will begin to work on your land. If you want to speed up the ploughing process you can adjust the game speed. Please wait until the vehicle has completed its work.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 018] Let's use some fertiliser. To do this, click on the second button on the lands control panel.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 019] The farmers’ centre window has opened again, you’re now able to select organic or synthetic fertiliser. Please choose an unlocked item and click the Buy button.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 020] Choose an unlocked vehicle.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 021] The tractor has begun work on your land. Wait until the vehicle has finished its work. You can speed up the fertilising process by increasing the game speed.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 022] Excellent job! <br> <br> I suggest you now click on the third button named "Sowing or planting".
[TUTORIAL TEXT 023] Once again you are back in the farmers’ centre. But now you’re able to select seeds, plants and trees. At the top of the window there are sub category buttons that will let you filter items.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 024] Every plant has a segmented area where you are able to find important information including price, soil quality demand and at what month that plant will begin to grow.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 025] The bottom section reveals information on the growing phases of the plant and what kind of weather conditions are required for it to grow.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 026] It can be quite daunting but in the upper right corner you’ll find Elroy, who will give you advice for just a little bit of money. Please click the button next to his picture to ask for advice.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 027] After hiring Elroy, stars will appear on the bottom left corner of each plants picture. Depending on whether the star is filled or opaque is representative of Elroy’s advice on what plants he recommends you to grow. Elroy’s recommendations will last for one week, but you can hire him again after this period. For more information you can hover your mouse over the star.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 028] Please select the vegetables sub category and then choose the Cabbage.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 029] Choose an unlocked vehicle.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 030] As you can see, the tractor has begun to work on your land. Wait until the vehicle has finished its work. If you want to speed up the sowing process you can increase the game speed.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 031] Congratulations you have sowed your first plot of land!
[TUTORIAL TEXT 032] To minimise the damage from pests to your plants you can use pesticide. There are two types: organic and synthetic. If you use synthetic pesticide, you lose your plant's organic status. This means it will sell for a lower value on the market.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 033] When your land reaches the seedling phase please click the fourth button to use Pesticide. You can speed up the growing process to reach that state by increasing the game speed.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 034] Please select small organic pesticide.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 035] Choose an unlocked vehicle.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 036] The tractor has now started to spray pesticide on your land. Wait until the vehicle has finished its work. If you want to speed up the spraying process you can increase the game speed.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 037] You’ll soon need to spray pesticide on your crop a second time once they reach the ripen phase. Please set the game speed to maximum.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 038] Your plants have now reached the ripen phase. Please click on the fifth button on your lands menu.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 039] Select small organic spray.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 040] Choose an unlocked vehicle.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 041] The tractor has now began spraying pesticide on your territory. Wait until it has finished its work. If you want to speed up the spraying process you can increase the games speed.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 042] Sometimes you’ll need to check your lands water level. Underneath the gold stars on the land menu there is a blue bar, this represents the current water level. You can water your territory once a day. After planting, I suggest you check the weather reports from time to time to keep your plants hydrated.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 043] Please click the Watering button.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 044] As you can see, you have filled the bar slightly. If this level drops to zero you will receive a warning message.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 045] Now you have to wait a few days, please set the game speed to maximum.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 046] When you start a new game you will begin with a garage, silo and warehouse. Later on you’ll need to check how much free storage space you have before you harvest crops. <br> <br> Please click the Harvest Crop button.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 047] Choose an unlocked worker.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 048] As you can see, a farm worker has started to harvest the crops on your land. Wait until the harvest has completed. In the meantime collect your star reward for harvesting! Feel free to increase the game speed.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 049] Good job! <br> The workers have placed the goods obtained from harvesting into your warehouse. Every time you complete a harvest you will receive one bonus star which can be used to unlock items in the farmers’ market. Please click the market button on the left hand side of the screen.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 050] This is the market window, from here you can sell your goods. <br> There are two buttons at the top left side of the window. The first button lets you sell goods at the suggested market value and the second button lets you sell goods on the private market.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 051] You can sort through your current goods by using the filter buttons at the top of the window.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 052] In the main market area you can see up to ten items of data at one time, every row will reveal more information about particular products including how much that item will sell per ton and you can set the selling quantity with the scroll bar.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 053] Please set the quantity of your Cabbage to 2, check the sell price and then use Sell button at the bottom of the window.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 054] Great! You sold your first item on market. Now, let's check the private market area, please click the button in the top left corner to enter the private market.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 055] In the private market you’ll find two new buttons, one which will reveal your current opportunities, and another which will show all of your contracted items currently placed on the private market.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 056] In the private market you are able to set the sale price of your goods. With this you can receive a considerably higher profit, but you will not know when you will sell your goods. You’ll need to hire a Johanna who will act as your market manager, she will locate buyers for your goods. She’ll also take a fee out of every transaction she has made. <br><br> Please hire Johanna by clicking the button in the top right corner.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 057] OK. Now set the quantity of your Cabbage to 2 again, set a higher price with the scroll bar and then press the “Make contracts” button in the bottom right corner.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 058] As you can see there is now new data in the “quantity contracted” column that shows how much of the stock Johanna is looking to sell to private buyers. If you want to modify this contract you’ll need to select the contracted button. Please click the contracted button.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 059] You can modify your contracted items quantity and price from here. You can suspend your contract with Johanna at any time.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 060] Now it is time to purchase animals for our farm. Please close the market window and click on the farms’ centre button on the left hand side of the screen.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 061] Please select the buildings category.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 062] Please click the Animal related Subcategory.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 063] Now, please buy the following building <br><br> “Pen for large animals – small” <br><br> Make sure to place the building in a valid area.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 064] In the farmers’ market you can purchase many types of buildings including garages, silos, warehouses and more. <br> Please close the farmers’ centre window and click on the newly built animal pen.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 065] OK, let’s buy some animals. Click the buy animal button.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 066] Buy some cows for your pen.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 067] Congratulations! You've bought your first animal! Please increase the game speed to maximum and wait just a little while.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 068] On your buildings information panel you can see that the animals have now reached a mature age. Their fodder level has also decreased. In order to preserve your animals please click the buy organic fodder button.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 069] You have now topped up the fodder level. When your animals reach mature status you can sell them on the market. Some of them can even produce other goods during their lifetime like milk or eggs. After the end of the mature status, your animals will grow old where their quality will deteriorate to their death.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 070] Please open the market window.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 071] Your animals have a specific pen ID. Please use the scrollbar’s plus button to sell just one animal.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 072] Please close this window and open Farmers' Centre to build a butchery.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 073] Click the Buildings category.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 074] Please click to Production plants Subcategory.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 075] Buy "Butchery - large" building and build it in a valid area.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 076] Close the Farmers' Centre window and click on your newt building
[TUTORIAL TEXT 077] Press the "Set production in factory" button.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 078] In this window you can set the building to produce new goods. <br> There is a scrollbar at the left side. Use this to choose from your raw materials. You can see all materials in this list that this type of factory can process, but you can select only what you have in your storage.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 079] There is another scrollbar at the right side, where you can choose what you want to produce. When you select an item, the other side will be filtered accordingly.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 080] At the top of the window you can see the raw material and product information along with a wastage factor which can be found above the arrow.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 081] For now, choose your cow on the left hand side and select beef as your final product. Once this is complete you can either click the icon on the bottom right of the window to cancel production or click the set production icon on the left to set your production. Click that button now to set the production of Beef.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 082] As you can see the arrow on the factory's information panel changed to green. You also can turn the factory on and off and can set the production facility to auto activate when conditions are met. When the factory produces something you obtain a star. You can collect them from the buildings information panel and use them in the farmers’ centre to unlock items.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 083] Now let’s talk about contracts. Please click the "Contracts" button on the left side of the screen
[TUTORIAL TEXT 084] This is the Contracts window. At the moment it is completely empty because we have not yet undertaken any contracts. The four buttons at the top of the window allow you to filter between active, available, closed and achievements.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 085] Please click on the “Available contracts” button.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 086] As you can see, there is a new contract for us to accept. Check the information and then click the Accept button.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 087] Please click the “Show active contracts” button.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 088] We’ve put the requested product into your storage so you can fulfil this contract. Click the “complete contract” button.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 089] Let's switch to closed contract to check our progress. Click the “Show closed contracts” button.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 090] From here we can see all of the contracts we completed. Now check the last page, Achievements.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 091] You are able to check the progress of your achievements from this page, whenever you fulfil an achievement you can claim a reward.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 092] Please close this window and click the Statistics menu button on the left hand side of the screen.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 093] In this window you can see the last 12 months statistics. This data will help you to run an efficiently economic farm.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 094] After you have checked the statistics window, please close it and select the Bank button on the left side of the screen.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 095] This is the Bank window. <br> You can borrow money and repay existing loans here. Sometimes it can be very favourable for you to borrow money to kick start your farm, but you’ll need to be cautious of the repayment plan you select.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 096] Please click the "Accept loan" button.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 097] Now it’s time to check the weather. You can check the forecast by clicking the “Weather forecast” button at the top of the screen next to the game time.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 098] You are now in the Weather Forecast window. <br> This window has four segmented areas of information. At the top you can subscribe to Sarah the meteorologist’s weather report. Depending on how much you spend and what you subscribe to, the weather forecast accuracy can vary.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 099] The part below will show you the next weeks weather data. From here you are able to check rainfall, temperature and how many hours of sunshine we’ll have. This is all very important when choosing a plant to grow.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 100] The third segmented section will let you check the monthly summary of weather data for the next 12 months. If you subscribe to a monthly accurate weather forecast, your first month’s information will be accurate.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 101] The last section provides you with weather warnings that will affect your crops. For example your crops could be under attack from frost or perhaps you’ll suffer a sudden change in temperature that can affect the growth of your plants

[TUTORIAL TEXT 103] As you can see the data has now changed and you received a little more information. Please close this window.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 104] At the end of each month you’ll see a Monthly Summary window. Now the Tutorial will fast forward one month in time to show you the monthly summary screen.
[TUTORIAL TEXT 105] Here you can see vital economic information about your farm. You also can see your budgetary change from last month and see some suggestions to help improve your farm further. When you ready, please close this window.
